Blueprints & Tags

You can segment your IoT fleet using Blueprints and Tags

  • Blueprints designate a specific hardware configuration. Each device may optionally have one blueprint assigned to it.
    • Blueprints may be used to filter firmware rollouts
    • Blueprints may be used to filter Settings service changes
  • Tags help organize devices into groups. Each device may optionally have any number of tags assigned to it.
    • Tags may be used to filter firmware rollouts
